Cold Stare, Yaaser, Novak and B Associates were all engaged in the 3.25 here yesterday. Riot has been thereabouts since winning off this mark at Doncaster in July. He is fitted with a visor today and is likely to be in the firing-line again. Richard Fahey runs three but Oisin Orr partners OUTRUN THE STORM rather than three-year-olds Craven and Old Smoke. Something was clearly amiss with the five-year-old here last time as he’d been in good form earlier at Doncaster and Newmarket. Twice a winner here in July, Gainsbourg is a danger dropping back in trip.
