Verdict

CHOSEN ONE can also land his hat-trick here with Nawaaff and Killer Class capable of contesting the runner-up's berth. Brian Smart has his team in great order at present and this colt hasn't looked back since making his debut at Redcar in August. He has gone up by 4lbs for winning on his handicap bow at Hamilton, drops back to this trip for the first time and will face heavy ground for the first time so there are some negatives but he looks capable of overcoming them and remaining upwardly mobile. Killer Class is a regular performer over this course and distance and should be in the thick of the action but the handicapper may just have the upper hand for the time being. Note Perfect is not dismissed despite being 8lbs higher than for his course and distance win at the start of the month but Nawaaff may prove to be a bigger danger to the selection, Chosen One, if he handles the ground.
