    Verdict

    Celtic Heroine made light work of her rivals to land a handicap at Hamilton earlier in the month and is taken to follow up here with Oman Gulf preferred to Mbosi for the forecast spot. The selection showed that her turn would not be far away when finding just Henry Cecil's Show No Fear too good in a Kempton handicap on her reappearance and duly went one better at Hamilton when making smooth headway before going clear a furlong out. The handicapper has taken note of that and raised the daughter of Hernando by 8lbs but there is probably more to come from the Michael Jarvis-trained filly and she looks to be the one they all have to beat. Newmarket maiden winner Oman Gulf was highly tried on his return and outclassed when last of 10 in the Dante at York. The Barry Hills-trained colt is difficult to assess but is probably best watched. Mark Johnston's Mbosi has not been seen since finishing last of five runners in a conditions race at Newbury in September and is difficult to recommend, while Fine Silver has plenty to do on official BHB ratings. The vote then goes to Celtic Heroine, who is taken to continue winning ways.
