      Verdict

      Easibet Dot Net is potentially well treated as Ian Semple's gelding is due to go up 3lbs in future handicaps but has not always looked particularly straight forward and preference is for Leighton, who gets the vote over Sting Like A Bee. The last mentioned is on a fair mark but does not win very often and is probably best watched at present. Hiawatha, a dual winner on the all-weather during the winter, returns to turf on a fair mark and has to be respected along with Lennel for who Ted Durcan has been booked. Of more interest may be Mark Brisbourne's Champain Sands, who showed improved form at Nottingham last time and hails from a stable among the winners of late. However, the vote goes to Leighton. James Bethell's gelding has dropped to a fair mark now and looked a shade unlucky at Ripon last time in the race won by Intricate Web. The faster ground today should help the four-year-old who is taken to give weight away all round.
