        Verdict

        Saxonette won at Musselburgh last week but may struggle under a penalty and it could be the turn of CHOOKIE'S LASS today. She was beaten only a length here a fortnight ago. Captain Scooby has a shout off his current mark but was a couple of lengths behind runner-up Busy Bimbo at Thirsk just three days ago. Goninodaethat has recorded all six wins so far at the track but over longer trips than this and Lily Moreton makes more appeal over today's distance on her earlier third at Hamilton.
