    Verdict

Millagros appreciated the step back in trip last time and confirm that impression by landing this maiden event. The main danger could be Blazeaway. After showing promise at two, he spent the winter in Dubai. He had no success there but will be more at home in this company. The form of Foretold's last run has worked out well, while Libre (now rated 67 and for whom Kieren Fallon has been booked) has been knocking at the door without winning. Young Rooney is flattered by his last run, while Day Diesis has shown little in three runs to date. Pont Neuf tries this sort of trip for the first time on turf and it would be no surprise to see him competitive in what does not look like a strong contest.
