In depth

Verdict

Willie Mullins had half-a-dozen entered at the early stage and relies on LIVELOVELAUGH. A winning point-to-pointer, he made a successful bumper debut for the yard before running in the championship bumpers at Cheltenham and Punchestown last year and can make a successful start over timber. Thirsty Work had a couple of runs over hurdles earlier in the year before reverting to a Clonmel bumper for a comfortable victory. With his stable in good form he looks a danger while winning point-to-pointer Glencairn View was staying on strongly at the finish on his hurdling bow over 2m3f at Kilbeggan and should be winning soon. Troublesombrothers made a promising start over timber when runner-up to hot favourite Master Of Verse at Fairyhouse last month and will improve while Bull Ride is expected to do better and Paper Lantern has been unsuited by very heavy ground recently.
