Peoples Park looked a certain future winner when a very close second on only his second start over fences but ran poorly in both subsequent starts. PISTOL PARK (NAP), a winner over hurdles in France, started favourite on his chasing bow at Fairyhouse but couldn't match the pace of Young Finnegan, though he wasn't beaten far and with the experience certain to have brought him on he looks the one to be on. Vercingetorix finished half-a-length in front of him that day but had already had a run over fences and the selection can reverse the form while Rocky Court was around eight lengths behind and looks held. Ocean Glandore fell on his chasing debut last summer but wasn't beaten far on his next start at Tramore in August and should make his presence felt. Ancient Highway, who had completed a long-range double over hurdles, was never travelling on his hat-trick attempt at Tipperary but that wasn't his form and he makes his debut over the bigger obstacles as does the lightly-raced Bringerofthedawn, a winning point-to-pointer who gained a very impressive victory over timber here last month.
