Verdict
DARK NOTE hasn't been beaten far in handicaps the last twice and this represents a drop in class. His stable also run the newcomer Gambe Veloci, a son of Caravaggio and a half-brother to five winners. Girl Crush was a 100/1 chance on her debut but belied the odds with a promising run behind Galleria Borghese with a subsequent winner in fourth. Shaky Operator followed a decent effort in a Gowran handicap by losing his action and pulling up on a return visit. Together Aclaim's best runs have been at Dundalk though he performed with credit in a Leopardstown handicap last time.
