Verdict

AZUA EMERY, a half-sister to two winning hurdlers in France, has been purchased by Gigginstown after finishing runner-up on the Flat at Saumur in April and has been found a nice opportunity to make a successful debut for Gordon Elliott. Downtown Rebel has comfortably the best form of those with experience and has been running a bit better than his form figures suggest. A Place Apart showed some potential on the Flat, though in lowly company, but the remainder have shown very little and the market may prove a guide to their chances.
