Verdict

The veteran Gibbstown was sent to the UK for his last three runs earlier this year and was only narrowly beaten in the final two in March. He'll be an obvious threat if ready after a break but the guaranteed race-fitness of CANIWILLYEGIVEME can see him home. Seamus Fahey's winning point-to-pointer has only had three runs over regulation fences and shown real potential, especially when third in a much better race than this at Tramore last month. Aranhill Rascal landed a Limerick handicap in May then made a bold bid to follow up at Clonmel but found stepping up in grade too much back at the former track where he was pulled up. This should be more to his liking and he looks better than Ard Cregg, who is 1-32 over fences and has been in poor form.
