In depth

Verdict

CHEAP AS CHIPS has found her form and followed a victory over hurdles at Clonmel with a cracking effort over fences from the front at Tramore. She's been raised 8lb but Andrew Ring's claim takes care of most of that and she can complete a hat-trick. Lough Roe Lady had been threatening to win before getting off the mark over fences at the 13th time of asking at Clonmel. She still looks well treated and is a threat but Miller Of Glanmire hasn't run since New Year's Day where he jumped well to land a minor event. He isn't badly treated for his handicap debut, however, while Sitcom was probably just in need of her latest effort after a break and her victory at Thurles in November was a fine effort. Araglen Lad doesn't appear to have improved from his victory at Gowran in November but New Phase will find this less daunting than the Grade B handicap he ran in at Limerick in December.
