Verdict

Acclaimed has run in better company on his two starts over timber and hasn't performed badly but he's penalised for his flat success in the UK and the concession of 8lbs to PERSIAN GAYLE may prove beyond him. James Cousins' lightly-raced six-year-old showed plenty of ability in bumpers before a very promising second to Bootlegger in a huge field at Cork on his hurdling bow. Attycran showed aptitude for the game when a good fourth in a big field at Cork a couple of weeks ago and will have come on for the run while Im Suir defied a long absence with a nice comeback effort at Sligo and is another who should be sharp enough for this. Boherna Gold has questions to answer after a poor effort at Cork in April though the heavy ground may have been responsible and he is better than that.
