Verdict
FLEMINPORT looks a stayer in the making having won twice over hurdles at around 2m4f. He needed his comeback on his chasing debut at Carlisle and will improve for the experience so gets the vote. Emerald Rose has won five times over fences including over 3m5f at Fakenham last time though was probably fortunate as the favourite fell at the last. Bordeaux Bill is very versatile having won a point, a bumper, twice over hurdles and a three-runner novice chase at Wetherby and One Forty Seven wasn't helped by a bad mistake at Stratford having won easily there on his previous start. Wandrin Star went up a massive 14lb for a very easy victory over the course and distance and was unable to cope at Aintree next time. After Aspen could do with some more rain.
