Verdict
Henrietta Knight seldom wastes her trips to the Welsh venue from her Wanrtage base so Howrwenow will be fancied to repel the challenges of Gumption and Diamondalternative. The latter has not been out for 844 days but Charlie Egerton is a master at getting them ready so it would be no surprise to see him run well enough to reach the frame. Gumption has had just the one career run so far and like a few of Kim Bailey's, will thrive on the better going. However, it is hard to look beyond Howrwenow, who has shaped promisingly on each of his three start to date, and although likely to improve when put over fences, should be too good for these, with Robert Biddlecombe adding to our confidence with his 5lb claim.
