Verdict

Clody Flyer was second at Southwell on his handicap debut and races off the same mark. Jockey bookings would suggest he’s preferred to the returning Minella Plus. Onward Route finished ahead of WELL EDUCATED at Hexham two runs ago but, over a longer trip and on better terms, the latter can turn the tables and he’s now well treated on last year’s form. Bucko's Boy has had wind surgery but still looks to be on a high enough mark. Inca Prince has also had a wind operation but is best over a sharp 2m with Lighthouse Mill making more appeal having found only one too good twice since winning at Stratford. Oslo has been off the track for more than a year and tries a new trip.
