    Verdict

Kankin has finished second in a couple of bumpers but those runs came two years apart. CRAMBO couldn’t handle the step up to Grade 1 company at Newbury last time but was unbeaten in three runs prior to that and can get his head back in front here. Donnacha should improve on his fourth at Chepstow but points winner Waspy looks a bigger danger after a pipe-opener in a Wetherby bumper. One Step Up is a half-brother to useful chaser Dunvegan while Intel Des Bruyeres is a half-brother to two winners in France.
