Tanterari is given the narrow vote over Clan Royal, with Gola Supreme the best of the remainder. The selection is on a hat-trick here and he won easily last time to beat Admiral Peary. He looks to be progressing nicely and with the step up in trip likely to suit here he is the one they all have to beat. Clan Royal is an out-and-out stayer and he finished second in the Grand National when last seen out. If he were fully fit then he would be difficult to overlook, but he might just need the run after being off the track since April. Gola Supreme won well last time at Towcester but he is far from reliable and is passed over on that basis. Glacial Sunset is another not to place a great deal of faith in, but he won well last time and if he gets around again here then could be capable of getting competitive. However, Tanterari is fit, in-form and progressive and he is taken to get the better of Clan Royal who might just need the run.
