      Verdict

Tom Midgley is creating a good impression in the conditional jockey ranks, typified by a cool winning effort on RUKWA at Huntingdon on Monday. The gelding, kept busy at present by Sam England, seems to be relishing his work and the winning combination is taken to supplement those recent gains, especially having incurred no penalty. Shady Character just held on to oblige at Southwell recently and should prove competitive again while Kitty Hall continues to apply herself in her work. She's finding winning hard but it'll be interesting to see what happens now connections reach for first-time blinkers.
