Verdict
Ellerslie Tom, Crow Wood and Crossbow Creek are three against the field in a tough race to call for punters and the vote is given to Crow Wood. The selection has been in fair form of late returns to hurdles on a fair mark and under conditions that suit he looks the value bet in an open affair. Ellersile Tom rates the main danger as he won well last time when beating Raffish but he looks to have plenty of weight for what he has actually achived. Crossbow Creek has dropped to a handy mark but all his best form is on a faster surface. Of the remainder Four Schools is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but he may just need the run after a 176 day absence and for the winner we return to Crow Wood.
