Verdict
Vandante, Royal China and Lost In The Snow are three against the field in a wide open affair and the narrow vote is given to Royal China. The selection won well last time out when beating Rash Moment and although having a penalty for that win he looks a progressive type and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Vandante rates the main danger as he also won well last time out but all his best form is over a longer trip. Lost In The Snow is another that could go well on his latest second behind Mooramana but he has had plenty of chances without winning and is opposed for that reason. Of the remainder Carina Bay would have chances on his best form but disappointed for no apparent reason last time so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Fort Ord looks on a handy mark and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Royal China.
