In depth

Verdict

Dollar Law finally gained reward for some consistent efforts over timber when landing an ordinary novice, on drying ground at Chepstow earlier in the week. However, he has never looked that enthusiastic and could be one to take on at a short price. Inn Antique has been in good form through the winter and was particularly impressive when beating subsequent winner Middlethorpe at Sedgefield. The drying ground will hold no fears for him and he looks sure the one to beat, despite his penalties. The main threat could come from Crunchy, who is lightly raced over hurdles and should be capable of improvement. On a line through Middlethorpe, he does have something to find with the selection, but he comes here fit and well and with Vinnie Keane taking 3lbs off his back he is sure to take a hand in the finish. The ex-French Euro Bleu is an interesting recruit, but his win in a three runner affair at Pau, leaves him with something to find in this grade.
