Verdict
Crackrattle bids to give Ben Pollock his first winner since taking out a license, but while this winning pointer looks sure to play his part he faces a formidable rival in the shape of Superb Leader, who showed he has a race in him when chasing home The Parsons Dingle over course and distance last month. That is the best form on offer in this and he should make no mistake. Winged Hussar has never looked that keen and it is probably a bit late for him to be starting his chasing career at the age of ten. The locally trained Talbot Lad would be a popular winner and he will not mind the faster conditions here.
