Verdict
The Bay Birch won at Warwick in between her more usual modest efforts and a chance is taken BIDDY THE BOSS proves more consistent. She travels over from Ireland having won a novice chase at Down Royal a week ago on only her third start over fences and Gavin Cromwell’s charge may prove good enough. Still Believing had taken advantage of a slide down the weights when notching-up three wins at the end of last year but struggled raised 9lb at Taunton last time while Angels Antics never threatened when third at Uttoxeter though it was still an improvement on last year’s form and she sports a first-time visor. Dauphine Ereine continues to struggle though is not badly treated if back to her best.
