In depth

Verdict

For Jim almost certainly needed the run over an inadequate trip here 10 days ago and is back on a winning mark. Potters Venture may be better than he’s shown so far and slips further down the weights while Ecossais could figure with Toby Wynne claiming 7lb. DARANOVA was a wide-margin winner here last time and would have been on a hat-trick had he not unseated his rider at the last the time before. A 10lb rise looks fully justified and he may be too strong for San Agustin in the closing stages.
