Verdict
Isard III, Baloo and Roselea are the ones to concentrate on in this novices chase and the confident vote goes to Isard. The gelding from the Martin Pipe yard fell in a grade two novices chase on henessy gold cup day last year. He is still held in high regard and if he jumps round he will be hard to beat. Baloo rates the main danger he was a good second behind Fox In The Box last time out and a reproduction of that effort would give him definite place claims. Roselea could also go well the five year old was a fair hurdler last season and is worth watching in the market. Young Claude a half brother to Young Kenny is worth noting as regards the future as better things are expected now he switches to fences but we are happy to side with Isard.
