In depth

Verdict

Timeteam sets the standard and can get off the mark at the fifth time of asking; Mick Channon and Richard Hannon both provide the sternest opposition. It is doubtful that connections have unearthed a rare gem in the selection; however Sylvester Kirk's Danetime colt deserves to get his head in front. He has been well-fancied on his last two defeats so is not one for the mortgage, however he should take this from his low draw. Robin The Till and My Dixie Darling represent the wildly in-form Richard Hannon, with the former looking the pick on jockey bookings and also on the form shown so far. Inthawain and Rockinit represent Mick Channon and both rate as dangers. The former is likely to improve on his debut run at Ripon where he ran well after being outpaced early, whilst the latter ran well at Warwick last time and should appreciate the drop in trip. Leverage needs a check in the betting along with Belated Silver, however whilst there may be no cunning plan for him, it is Timeteam who can squash his rivals.
