      Verdict

      There is very little for backers to go on here with only Spanish Baron, who was well held on his Wolverhampton debut, having been raced previously and this is likely to go to one of the newcomers with the vote going to War Native over The Fonz. The last mentioned represents the yard of Sir Michael Stoute that has had a good week at Glorious Goodwood and the son of Oasis Dream has to be respected on his debut. Mark Johnston has his team in good form at present so Al Mugtareb has to be considered but like Sir Michael Stoute's runners, his juveniles tend to improve with racing. A market move for Jane Chapple-Hyam's Virginia's Choice would be of interest but it is War Native that gets the vote. Jeremy Noseda's colt is a well-related son of Cape Cross and could easily be good enough to win first time out.
