Scenic Pass can get punters off to a good start here; Smalljohn and Elaine's Folly rate as the main dangers. The selection finished third behind Pride Of Kings at Catterick last time out over 7f but she is eased in grade today and with trip and ground to suit she should take all the beating. Smalljohn has already won a seller and he wasn't beaten far last time at Thirsk by Metroland. The slight worry today is the trip as he has yet to race over this far., Elaine's Folly was a little disappointing in a handicap last time but she was well-backed that day, she is lightly-raced and dropped in grade here she has to be respected. Scottish Colourist is an interesting newcomer from a shrewd yard and is worth a market check, but for the winner we will stick with Scenic Pass.
