Verdict

Tasty Ginger won on his first run for a new yard last time but it remains to be seen whether this step up in trip will suit. Denmead was a disappointment when tried at this distance at Wolverhampton and it isn’t clear what the form of Skylark Lady’s claimer win is worth. The hitherto-disappointing Roccor could be of interest over a significantly longer trip today, but in a modest contest, the relatively lightly-raced three-year-old TOP OF THE ROCKS could be the answer. He was too keen over 2m in a better race than this at Goodwood, but dropped in grade at this shorter distance, he should be more competitive.
