      Verdict

If Adobe turns out here under topweight, Mark Brisbourne's eight-year-old can gain reward for some decent efforts of late, with Other Routes and Lucky Archer candidates for the frame in an open contest. Adobe was very unlucky last time over the course and distance when boxed in by one of today's rivals, Marnie, when making his run up the rail. Beaten a whisker, he will be strongly fancied to make amends if turning out. Course and distance winner Other Routes ran really well when just touched off at Salisbury and although still a bit high in the weights at present, should be there or thereabouts under Ryan Moore, while Lucky Archer, also successful over track and trip in the past, only failed by a short-head to land the Fegentri World Cup Of Nations Handicap at Goodwood two weeks ago. Despite being the oldest in the line-up at 10, he can be in the shake-up. Take Adobe to make amends.
