Verdict

Palerma landed a Salisbury maiden in June and ran well in handicaps subsequently so she should be ready for this and rates a threat to all. Lady Bayside has won four races in her career but never over a trip this far though the small field should aid her cause. Ela Goog La Mou has no problems with the trip and is just 4lb higher than an easy victory at Yarmouth in August. Special Miss would have a fine chance if able to repeat her two summer victories at Sandown though she didn't perform as well on her last two starts. Tears Of The Sun looked a few pounds high on her reappearance last month so RURAL AFFAIR (NAP) looks the one to be on. She was in excellent form at the backend of 2013 and something must have gone amiss as she didn't reappear until last month with a pipe-opener over a trip too short at Wolverhampton.
