Verdict
The pair to concentrate on here are Corps de Ballet and Enchantment, and you could do worse than have a reverse forecast on them, but for win purposes we will side with Corps de Ballet. John Dunlop's filly makes her seasonal debut here but there was plenty to like about the way she was steadily brought on last season, culminating in a fast ground win at Nottingham in October. With conditions underfoot to her liking here and a real chance at the weights, she looks the one to be on. Enchanted looks ideally suited by six furlongs, but should not be too inconvenienced given the undulating nature of this track. She has switched to sprint specialist Milton Bradley from Ian Wood in the winter and after being beaten at Salisbury won comfortably at Ripon last time. A repeat run would see her go close, but the selection is just preferred. Of the others, course and distance winners Bathwick Bill and Trick Cyclist make limited appeal on that basis, but are not in the best of form at present and so we will stick with Corps de Ballet.
