GHERKIN is creeping closer and was beaten only a neck over track and trip last week. He can go one better if the first-time headgear has the desired effect. Pull Harder Con has been raised 5lb for winning at Thirsk last time but still looks the main danger as Amberine never threatened the winner when third here recently though should be sharper for that outing. Global Acclamation has switched yards since last year and is preferred of the remainder.
