In depth

Verdict

No doubt Compton Target's connections will view last month's 6f win at Kempton as an unexpected bonus given he's bred for today's much longer trip. He may well figure, but ENJOYING has the proven form. Richard Hannon's colt had Welsh Nayber and Polytrack winner Snowed In behind when scoring over C&D three weeks ago and can follow-up. Always Ends Well had Choisirez behind when runner-up over a mile last time and the unexposed Dont Take Me Alive looks another threat on his handicap debut.
