Verdict
Karaoke gets our vote here ahead of the hat-trick seeking Voice Mail, Factual Lad, Billy Bathwick, Nantucket Sound and Nuzzle. The selection races from a mark of 65 today, one from which he won at Nottingham over a mile last summer. He now has two furlongs further to travel but, judged on the way he ran over the trip at Kempton last time, he could be worth chancing today. Voice Mail comes here in good heart and will be popular with punters as he attempts to win his third race in 10 days. Well-berthed in stall four, expect a big run. Other possibles look to be narrow August Brighton winner, Factual Lad, who is back to a reasonable mark, the enigmatic but talented Bowing, who must surely win a race one day, and Billy Bathwick, who is also back on a winning mark. The Martin Pipe-trained Nantucket Sound made eye-catching late headway last time at Windsor, and he must also be considered, while Nuzzle's second to Smart John at Haydock six days ago might prove to be reasonable form. Overall, though, our selection is Karaoke.
