Verdict
Woolston Ferry bids for a hat-trick after a narrow-margin victory at Pontefract last time. That was his first win on Turf and he remains on a decent mark compared to his winning form on the all-weather. Polytrack winner COOL HAND JAKE has only had three previous starts on this surface and, given he can race off a 5lb lower mark after a recent third at Kempton, Jamie Osborne's charge gets the vote. Cheers usually runs his race but is creeping up the weights without winning while Catchanova has claims if forgiven a below-par effort last time. Mr Udagawa also has the past form to figure.
