Verdict

Richard Fahey trained the winner of this 12 months ago and has an excellent chance of taking home the lion's share of the prize money again with Boom And Bloom, who only gave best close home when second on her debut over 6f at Newcastle. She'll know more here but MANDY LEXI seems sure to appreciate the drop back to 5f after apparently failing to get home in two starts over further since her debut second at Chester. Bryan Smart has had the winner of this twice in the last 10 years and the grey can finally get her head in front today. Blue Lotus was taking on decent company at Doncaster last time and is also interesting, as are once-raced Musselburgh runner-up Cracking Choice and Grievous Angel.
