In depth

Verdict

GEE MAJOR won twice on fast ground over C&D last summer. He's been off the track since September but if Nicky Vaughan has him fighting-fit for his return then he stands out as the one to beat. Grey Boy has been in consistently good form at around this trip on the all-weather and is a pound lower than when scoring at Wolverhampton last month. He's preferred to stablemate Aggbag, while Haulit has been placed on the Polytrack this year and may do better back on turf for the first time since 2008. The remainder are struggling for form and hard to fancy.
