In depth
Verdict
Boris Grigoriev was beaten seven lengths by the well-backed Tough As Nails over C&D on his debut but will have come on for the run and should easily confirm that form with fifth Clubland and Diamond Rainbow, who finished last of the nine runners. Michael Mulvany trained the impressive winner of that race and relies on promising Dundalk third Battleroftheboyne here but the one to beat may be PINKISTHECOLOUR. Kevin Prendergast's filly was beaten less than three lengths by Tough As Nails on her debut at the Curragh and looks a decent prospect. Crimson Sunrise is speedily-bred and cost £75,000 as a yearling so may prove the pick of the newcomers.
