In depth

Verdict

Mister Hotelier landed a maiden hurdle back in January and Giant's Quest got off the mark over timber at Gowran last time. Winning chaser Tribes And Banner can race off a lower mark back over the smaller obstacles and Esporao reverts to hurdling after winning a chase at Clonmel three weeks ago. This is tougher than the hurdles event Sitcom landed at Sligo last time and Rawnaq is preferred having followed up a Punchestown victory with a win on the Flat at Navan. SHADOW CATCHER won a shade cosily at Down Royal a fortnight ago and, raised only 2lb for that and with Barry Geraghty taking over the reins, he gets the vote in an open affair.
