Verdict

Celtic Monarch, Green Dragon and Honourable Emperor all carry penalties for recent wins. The latter had earlier finished behind Green Dragon at Tipperary so Tony Martin's charge makes most appeal of that trio. However, KING OF THE PICTS is fancied to make the most of his weight concession having been only beaten a length at Wexford on his latest start and he gets the vote ahead of Private Treasure. The latter won a bumper at Limerick in April and can figure if taking to hurdling with Welsh Nayber looking best of the rest.
