Verdict

WOOLY TOM has been raised 11lb for a very convincing victory on his handicap debut at Gowran but it could have been more as he was always travelling with ease and won as he liked. This is much tougher but he's obviously much better than that handicap mark suggested and can follow-up. Our Nana Rose was just touched off by Fairymount Lord at Ballinrobe in May but has run poorly on the Flat subsequently. Windwood Lad looks a big threat after his demolition job of a decent field at Down Royal, his first start for 272 days. A 9lb rise looks fair and it will be a surprise if he doesn't get involved in the finish. Charleville scored twice on the Flat at Galway in 2009 but didn't reappear until April. He never showed on his first two comeback runs but it was a different matter at Clonmel last month when he gained an emphatic victory. The assessor was duly impressed and has raised him 14lb but he's another likely to get competitive in a strong looking handicap. Cnoc Seoda is another to take into consideration in an open event.
