Verdict
A 16-runner seller is not the sort of race that has you burning the midnight oil with form study so, for what it's worth, the vote goes to Redoubtable The David Chapman-trained 13-year-old showed he is now back number by winning at Ayr in May. With many of his opponents looking decidedly modest, he can go well. Clann A Cougar, who is dropped to this grade for the first time, Open Handed, who scored over course and distance in April, Maureen Ann, who won off a mark of 56 last July at Epsom, Noble Pursuit, a fair second at Thirsk last time, Canlis, Killerby Nicko and Celtic Romance are all others to consider but the vote goes to Redoubtable.
