Verdict
Supreme Breeze can beat Strongtrooper, King of Mommur, and Be The Tops in the opening event on the card. Supreme Breeze carries a seven-pound penalty for his victory at Hexham 12 days ago but may be able to follow up now that he has finally regained the winning thread. The nine-year-old had not won for three years prior to that, but the slight drop back in trip should help in his bid to follow up before the handicapper scuppers his chances again. Strongtrooper has topweight to overcome and was a beaten favourite last time out at Market Rasen, while King of Mommur was well held by Punchy at Worcester but should fare better over this longer trip. Be The Tops has yet to score over fences and was a faller on his last visit here when sent off favourite. He still does not look badly weighted compared to his form over hurdles and if staying upright can prove to be a threat to Supreme Breeze who gets a narrow vote to add to his tally.
