Interesting that the two housing the best form to date are both owned by Middleham Park Racing. Ventura Kingdom is not a leading light for the Mark Johnston team but his best effort to date last time suggested he's capable of winning a small handicap. He faces similar conditions now and should go close but THE VEGAS RAIDER is just preferred despite his 6lb penalty for an ultimately decisive success at Salisbury just over a week ago over trip and ground. It seemingly took a while for him to get organised that day but he cleared away strongly on the run to the line and looks the sort with more to offer. The unexposed pair of Can Can Girl and Out Of Sight are next best.
