    Verdict

    Three raiding Newmarket yards clash with the two leading northern stables, although the quality is not overly high on evidence to date. The newcomer, Military Two Step, and the once-raced duo of Amalfi Salsa and Riches And Rubies will require a market check, but this may turn into a Gosden-Varian battle. The Gosdens run Haija, who has the benefit of a run when sixth of nine over this trip at the Craven meeting but MS GANDHI (NAP) is the preference, The Varian filly was steadily progressive through her trio of juvenile starts, notably when last seen at Chelmsford, and the daughter of Kingman looks the sort to deliver further improvement at three.
