        Verdict

        Royal Challenge, Blue Maeve and Millinsky look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the vote goes to Royal Challenge. The selection is one of the least exposed in the field and was a fair second on his debut this season behind Tregarron. He is sure to strip fitter here and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Blue Maeve rates the main danger on his latest second behind Soaked in a handicap but he has had plenty of chances and for that reason he is opposed. Millinsky was a fair third behind Tregarron last time but he was beaten further than the selection by that horse and he will need to improve top score. Of the remainder Bond Romeo showed a modicum of ability last season but he may just need the run after a 225 day absence and for the winner we return to Royal Challenge.
