Verdict
The three to look out for are Red River Rebel, Sudden Impulse and Rudry World with the vote going to the last named. The selection has been in blinding form of late in claiming company for Paul Blockley winning at Wolverhamton and finishing second to Champagne Shadow. He has his first run for new connections since being claimed and has stepped up in grade but this is not the best handicap we have ever seen and he has performed well in better company before so if handling the soft conditions Rudry World can at last break his maiden tag. Red River Rebel had been winning poor all weather races but has recently raised his game winning a nice little handicap at Leicester last time out. He is only four pounds higher as a result and can once again run well. Sudden Impulse has a vast amount of weight to carry and give. He gained a penalty for winning at Musselburgh last time out but has form on rain softened ground in the past to warrant respect but weight might tell on this occassion. So for the winner we return to Rudry World to raise his game and land this handicap.
