Verdict

Yet another open looking event to end proceedings with Miss Havisham, Falimar and Tykie Two all worth noting with the vote going to the last named. Tykie Two is the least exposed with only three runs under her belt but improved dramatically to finish fourth of twelve at Redcar last time out. She is having her first run in handiacap company and could be potentially well treated. Her trainer does well in these races and although the ground will be a huge question mark if handling it she can go well. Miss Havisham carries a six pound penalty for winning at Yarmouth on soft ground last time out and looked to have relished the conditions. This will prove tougher though so she will have to raise her game once more. As will Falimar who has been kncking on the door in similar races recently without getting her head in front. She is almost running out of chances as she was a beaten favourite last time out and she is not certain to handle the ground. So for the winner the tentative vote we return to Tykie Two.
